Yes, depending on your own desired length, you can divide it or share it according. The idea is to make sure that the difference between the second and first step is equal or almost equal to the difference between the second and third step. This is so that the steps looks evenly spaced when you are done sewing.

So sorry about that. I placed them together starting with the widest circle, then placed the second widest one on top of it, then followed by the smallest circle. Then joined the three of them together round the waist circumference.

Hello, 6.28 is a standard calculation for measuring the radius of a circle. Formula for radius of a circle is = circumference/2π. I didn't want to go through the hassle of high school maths, so I assumed everyone should already know that since I'm not a maths teacher. 2. The length of each tier is perculiar to your measurement. If you are a taller person, it is expected that each tier should be longer than what I've illustrated here, so it's not something I determined. It's something I measured on my body. If you are making a longer skirt, then it should be longer.

4 yards can't make this except you make it a rectangular skirt instead of circle. That way you can manage the fabric better without wastage.
