5 inches downwards from the neck, if you are using a stretch fabric. If you are using a firm fabric please add zip

Thank you for watching, I used 2.5 meters (yards) but the client is small in size so it depends on your size. Yes you can use any fabric 😊

For a size 8 it is better to use 3 metres ( 3yards or 3.5 yards) depending on the length of your skirt

I added 1inch for the seam allowance, you will notice in the video that I sew the two edge together to form a round band before attaching it to the skirt. So you need to add that allowance
