Lovely tutorial I’ve been searching for an apron tutorial. Thank you !! Why did you use 4in on the first line ( shoulder line??) ? Is that universal ?

@darkskinloves5678 I'm glad I could help. 🫂 The place where I measured 4 inches isn't the shoulder line. It's the chest line. Also, I used 4 inches because I want the width of the part of the apron that covers my chest to not be more than 7.5 inches wide after sewing. You know the width of that ironed part of a bias is about 0.25, right. By the time you stitch 0.25 on both sides, you would have stitched 0.5/half an inch altogether. 4 inches will work for a large number of people. But you can consider increasing it to 5 inches or more if the owner is really big and a width of 7.5 inches would not cover them enough to prevent the cloth underneath from getting stained. I think 5 inches should be the highest you can go. I used 4 inches for a chef whose bust is 45 and it was perfect. Do you understand now?
