It depends on how many you minus during the cutting of the off shoulder if you removed 4 then for the sleeve you make it 5 ie 4 +1 for allowance and for the armhole 5 inches is constant for me but if the person is very slim then you can go for 4inches thanks for asking

Yes dear you will make use of the largest part the arm to determine the width and for the armhole if your armhole is 9 and you minued 4 when you are cutting the top that means that you are left with 5 OK so that is how I arrived at the 5 so 5+4=9 so I normally make use 5, hope you understand now, thanks for asking

Round armhole 8 minus 4 the 4 inches we removed during the cutting =4 +1 for allowance making it 5 that is how the 5 inches came to be but in case you removed 5 inches during the cutting then you will come down by 4inches OK, sorry I just saw the message now
