Can you explain the addition of the hip pad better,your hip pad is half ,does it mean let’s say my hip is 40,I will divide it by 4,which will be 10,I will then add half inch to it,which will make it 10.5?

Let's say your hip measurement is 40 and the size of the hip padding is half 👉 divide your hip by 4 which is 10 then add half inch that's is 10.5 (because your fabric is folded into 4 : it will result to having extra 2 inches to your hip. Another way to do it is adding 2 inches (for pad of half inch) to your hip 40 which is 42 then go ahead and divide by 4 to get accurate measurement which is still 10.5 I hope this helps
