How to cut and sew iphinifa / wrap dress, diy sewing tutorial.... 😅😎

Hello from Canada. A decent wrap dress at H&M costs anywhere from $50 to $80 dollars, so I decided to make my own. Your video was very helpful. You are very skilled and did an amazing job. I wish you had not skipped some of the parts like when you attached the skirt to the bodice and did the long colourful strip around the neckline. Those small steps are very helpful to someone like me who just started sewing. All in all you did a fantastic job, your dress looks very beautiful and looks very nice on your body. Please do another wrap dress with long bishop sleeves and maxi skirt. Many thanks in advance and God bless.

@violanhare3368 the minimum is 2,5 meters fabric, but if you are on the small size, it would be enough for a simple wrap dress.

Can you please tell me the measurements for the top especially the back. I can't see

@@staceymoya3385 my shoulder is 16 ÷2 =8, so I mark 8" for my width, for the back neckline I 3" for the back width and 1" for the neck depth. My armhole depth is 8", my bust measurement is 38", so 38÷4 =9,5 ", so I mark 9,5" plus 1" sewing allowance at the bust line. While I was filming this video my waist measurement was 32", so 32 ÷4 =8", so I mark 8 " plus 1" for sewing allowance. I hope this is helpful 🙏 so this phinifa can fit size small to medium.....

How do you cut iphinifa if you dont have a clients body measurement like if a client just says they are a size 32 or 38

I would use standard body measurements to cut, for example size small 8-10, bust 84cm - 88cm waist 68cm - 72cm or medium 12, bust 92cm, waist 76cm..... I would use those measurements to draft a pattern.... Or just goole standard body measurements chart for size small to large.... I hope this is helpful...... 🙈 I am not good at explaining things 🙈🙈🤦‍♀️
