If you want to sew a gown,it’s advisable you get the other type of Asooke that doesn’t come in pieces to avoid too much joining in your dress.But if you would like to use this type of Asooke,3 bundle will do

If you want to use the Aso oke for the Iro,Buba,Gele and Ipele,then you will need 3 bundles.3 bundles will be perfectly enough.7 lines for the Iro,1 line to sew the belt for the Iro,that is 1 bundles. Then from the second bundle,4 lines for Gele,4 lines for Ipele.You can even use 3 lines for Gele if you don’t want it big. Then from the third bundle,4 lines for the Buba body and 2 lines for the Buba Sleeves.

If you are using lace for the Buba just as in the video,two bundles will be enough for them.But if it’s will be complete Asooke,then you will need 2 and half bundles

Each of the Aso Oke is 6.75 inches wide,after using 0.25 inche to sew on each other,what is remaining multiply by 7 is the length.

Buba should have no joining at the shoulder. You rather cut and join the edge back

At 05:41,I mentioned that I joined the shoulder because my fabric was longer than my desired length,that you don’t necessarily have to join yours if the fabric Length is your desired length.And for me,I prefer to join the shoulder than to join the edge of the buba.
