@annellafashion2 ай бұрын
Hi Thank you for watching. Like I said in the video, that allowance (space) was for the joining of the front overlap for the button holes and the buttons

I enjoyed your teaching. What is the standard for excess for across-back. Here you put 5 inch. So is it always 5 for adult? Or it depends on how big you want the shirt to be?
@annellafashion8 ай бұрын
Please the Across back ( shoulder to shoulder Measurement) was 19" not 5". The standard measurement is from 16" to 18" depending on body size. Better still measure your client's one shoulder the the other to achieve the exact measurement. Thank you for watching 😊

How do u do the back when the person has some bench back.....when you do it straight the back becames bigger than the front
@annellafashion Жыл бұрын
Hi I haven't sewn such before. But I believe if you increase the length for the back part of the shirt (like 1") while cutting(remember I usually make the back part of the shirt 2" longer than the front , so you make it 3" and add about an inch of allowance to the back yoke to make it ease a bit. Please give me feedback if you try it

@annellafashion11 ай бұрын
Please are you talking about the gum stay on the collar? The gum stay hardens the fabric when used as interface

@annellafashion2 ай бұрын
Hi there, Please it's "gum stay" an interfacing which has a shiny side and a smooth side whereby we place the shiny side(gummy side) on the wrong side of the fabric and iron it to stick to the fabric. Kindly watch the video and you will see the white interface ( gum stay) I used. Thank you

Pls why 8inches for your armhole depth?
@annellafashion Жыл бұрын
Normally we divide our across back (shoulder to shoulder) measurement by 2. You can then deduct half from it if you want it to be quite fitted or leave it as it is for more freeness
