What if the hair on the ridge is shorter than your guide in the middle do you follow the middle guide or do you match the shortest point to everything else in the middle
@FADEDCULTURE2 күн бұрын
Good questions brotha are you referring to the fringe? If so it always depends on the desired style, if your client wants heave volume and texture on top but the fringe to lay at certain point on forehead, there can be a disconnect from fringe and center section
@ernestomartinez598Күн бұрын
@@FADEDCULTURE after you establish your guide in the middle when you go to connect the sides to the middle when you lift up a section and the hair on the far right is shorter than the guide do you just ignore it and let it fall out of your fingers or does that mean you have to make the middle guide shorter to make everything even on top

congrats with your new space and also nice haircut tutorial. Let's go to work, or like we say here: yallah One other thing, I learned to start baseline open , 1 open 2 open followed bij 1.5 and .5 closed to vanish the lines So from down to up. I see many barbers working the other way, starting up to down , 2 closed 1 closed and than 1.5 open .5 open working to the baseline as last one. Wich techniques of those 2is the best?

Hi Faded Culture Do I have to constantly moisten/wet the hair to better separate the side of the top and so be able to make my fade without being disturbed by the hair from the top, Is that I could connect the side with the top by separating anyway ? And how far should I cut with the guard lever 3/4? Love from France 🕺🏻

Much love bro, I’m not sure exactly what you mean but to yes to part out hair it has to be really wet. We also have our online course where we can review your cuts if that interest you the link is in the bio

I don't know if that's a low burst fade or high taper can someone explain the difference to me it looks like a high taper
@FADEDCULTURE3 ай бұрын
So when you curve your first guide that’s what makes it a burst. So in a sense it’s like a burst style taper fade since we kept it low. Usually out tapers start with a straight line if that makes sense

that looks more like a mid taper theres no low nothing about that cut its a mid taper
@FADEDCULTURE3 ай бұрын
Whenever we say burst it’s cause the first guideline starts as a curve so that’s why we call it a low burst fade. Our mid taper would start as a straight line from temple to top eat. Not to say our way is right but now and days it’s hard to explain fades since there’s so many tweaks done to them
