Great tutorial. May I offer a suggestion? Don't skimp on the wood backing for the stamps. Using a thinner backing will cause warping, causing an uneven image when you stamp! To be direct, avoid using something like chipboard.

I used a baby wipe and I wiped everything off the foam parts, when using the stamping ink pads, it doesn't get on the wooden boards, but I also used paint for the fabric stamping, and I was applying it quickly so it does get on the boards, and by the time I'm ready to clean everything off, the boards are dried (not the foam though) but it doesn't matter to me hah. - if using more permanent glue like e6000 or super glue, you should be able to rinse it under water, but I'm pregnant and I dint want to smell those strong glues (:

🤔i think i would still use some kind of transfer tape to move the image to the block. I use the wide masking tape from the 99 or Dollar Tree and put it on my pants or shirt a few times so its just sticky enough. i layer them side by side for wider images. If you do that AND DO NOT burnish it down onto the material it would work great!🥰Thanks for the video! i plan on making a branding stamp of my business name and also one for a few of my friends for the same reason! 💜💜💜

I would probably try using the rotary blade if you have the cricut maker

the rotary blade is for fabric. the knife blade was sucking really bad with this foam sheets, It was worse than using the regular one.

@@Zhannastar I have used the rotary blade for items other than fabric i figure because craft foam is kind of "sticky" it will get either caught by the blade or like what happened to u not cut all the way

yes, theres different sizes of boards as well - depending how big you want the name stamp to be. and if picking large simple fonts, it should be okay (: or like cursive, just BOLD fonts, nothing too thin or delicate - if that makes sense (:

yes, you can make any shape or writing. the smaller it is and more detailed - that might be a little hard to work with though
