How to Cut Denim Jeans Up for Quilting Fabric

Lovely video! I'm new to your channel and SUBscribed! Never made a quilt in my life, but would love to try at some point! Good news is I've been sewing as a hobby since I was 16 years old. I do not own a rotary cutter or large cutting mat. A friend recommended a rotary cutter to me, but as for a cutting mat, do you have any recommendations on a brand or size to use? I do have a small cutting mat by Merangue that's 12" x 18" that I use for paper crafts... I think I saw the Merangue logo on your mat, but not certain. Keep up the great work! Fawn 😊❤👍

Welcome- i use a Fiskers cutting mat 18x24, fiskers 45mm rotary cutter which came as a set with a 6 1/2 x 24 1/2 in ruler I got off Fb market place. the other rulers I’ve slowly accumulated from Joann’s using 50% off coupons
