How do you get the card stock to not stick to the mat? I’ve tried using SVG files but when I go to peel my card stock off the mat, it starts to rip and the design is not clean (it gets bent and crinkled)
@CraftwithLovebyLeana4 жыл бұрын
Hello there! Thank you for watching. About your question, I tried reducing the stickiness of my mat by doing this trick. Sticking an old T-shirt and remove. Repeat this step as many times as you need. The adhesive is washable and will not damage the shirt, but it is a good idea to use an old shirt as the continuous use will begin to wear on it eventually. Then rub your bare hands over the sticky surface. If the T-shirt doesn't remove enough of the stickiness, the natural oils on your hands might help.
@Bobster9865 жыл бұрын
That looks like it would take forever to actually make a realistic amount (100 - 200) of wedding invitations to be cost effective. Perhaps this is good for a birthday card, but I really can’t see this be marketable as a mass produce product.

I have to say I agree with you @craftwithlove and I also think hand/homemade are priceless. And you get the other bonus that unless you tell someone how you made it . No one else will have such beautiful cards. I'm making wedding cards for my niece and it won't cost her a penny as I'm doing it out of my love for her. Also I find if you take the time to shop around for your supplies your be amazed at just how reasonable you can make your cards yourself. And if you don't want sit all the time to make the whole batch, then start the preparations early and just do a few a night. Btw I absolutely love the card you have made so sophisticated. Xx
