I’ve been using this method for several years. As far as I’m concerned it’s the best way to do it. Fail proof. As a comment mentioned below I also use Dutch pins to hold timber in place, helps to save time. Must be time for tea break !! 👍👍

Great vid. I’m going to make a window deeper, so fairly straight forward. Is it best to order the window first, or make the cuts then order the window?

Going to be having a crack at this with a 9" grinder as it's all I got. Have a feeling i'll have to do both bloomin sides.. Eep!

Why can't I find a builder like yourself. I brought a house in Manchester but the city if full of cowboy builders. I regret buying in Manchester I had enough, staying in the south.

Hi Stu, love watching your videos and I’m a safety conscious builder myself, I noticed you wear all the PPE gear but I have a question for you! I noticed that you were wearing trainers when you put the cuts in for French Doors so my question is, are they safety trainers? Cheers Martin

I’m just about to cut an opening for a back door on my garage. I’m concerned about the finish on the brick work from being cut. Is it best to use some sort or PVC trim to hide it? Any suggestions would be great guys!

What's the purpose of a straight cut when you have to tie in bricks that are going to be seen after the patio door is installed? Or am I missing something

you don't call that a grinder (misleading title of video). that's a concrete saw, at least that's what we call it here in the US

Hi Gary pal, lots this year planned I’ve just been busy with bricklaying channel and not had the weather to get out on the course, I did have a lesson last week with Dan Whittaker and will be uploading progress this week 👍
@garysutton98636 жыл бұрын
stu crompton great news mate, I see you've put a lot of effort into the bricklaying channel, fair play, but I was initially captured by your golf content, your lessons with Dan, your progress and obviously vlogs with Kc! Look forward to the new content mate , keep it going 👍
