If you’re attaching to a skirt part to form a gown, you will use same half length you’ve measured on yourself. Watch my next video to see how I did mine.

It's always longer than the back length because of the bust. The back is always shorter because it's straight

If after joining your bustier and it’s shorter than the back, then you need to review your pattern because the side front and the side back is meant to be equal.
