The geometry lesson is brilliant. Thank you. I feel confident now in cutting my own bangs.

Thank you! Every video I've seen has a straight triangle and I'm looking at mine wondering how I'm going to trim mine because I know I always part my hair on the side before my hair dresser trims them. Makes sense now.

Thank you, I'm glad you said you don't have to pull hair from the other side, because I never liked that and thought I was crazy. I'm cutting some bangs tonight!

i really love the look of side bangs but i dont think id want to fully commit to a side part 24/7, i like parting my hair in the middle occasionally. would it be a bad idea to get them? is there some kind of alternative fringe i could get so i could wear them either way? im sorry if this is a stupid question :(
@CosmoDad Жыл бұрын
Quite the opposite of a stupid question. It's very insightful to think of possible styling issues before committing. The type of bangs I like to recommend for people who switch their part are Tear Drop Bangs. I just so happen to have a video on this too. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJ_Yl3x-qMt6p9k Thanks for watching!

Can we do this same technique but with cutting a straight line across instead of a diagonal line as i want the bangs to be a bit longer and less steep? Or does it need to be cut diagonal always? Ive seen other tutorials where you brush the opposite side of where youll wear it, cut but straight across and /or an angle, please respond!! Love your videos

Thanks for watching. I might make a video about this. You can change your finger angle but that can sometimes make it difficult to visualize the results. My preferred method is to always keep your fingers perpendicular to the hair but don't over direct the section as much. The further you pull your section across the face, the steeper the angle will become. Pulling it now as far will make the angle less steep. Hope this helps

Thank you for this tutorial. I always see people teaching others how to cut side swept bangs by parting down the middle first. Makes no sense.

Excellent hair cut. But I wish you did not wear black gloves if your fingers were bare I could see better. Thank you.😄

Thank you. When I filmed this particular video I was having an allergic reaction and my hands were hideous. All better now, no more gloves!
