DISCLAIMER: I never claim to be the original inventor or creator of my magic, deceptive methods or sleight-of-hand techniques, I only ever claim to have discovered and developed my magic and performances, in isolation, in an unorthodox way - away from magic and magicians - a conscious decision made long ago in an attempt to always create, discover and develop original ideas that have not been inadvertently influenced by others.
Any likenesses or similarities with the work of others are innocently coincidental. I believe that there is nothing new under the sun… When likeminded artists with similar ambitions attempt to achieve all of the wonderful and amazing things that are possible with a deck of playing cards, obviously similarities will occur and similar problem-solving individuals, will inevitably reach the same conclusions and arrive at the same destinations. It then becomes a matter of ‘who came first?’ It was Suzan, it always is.
Before sharing my ideas, I always call upon a few close people who help me research so that if any similarities ever occur, I can correctly acknowledge where appropriate. Should my ideas share any likenesses that are not acknowledged, there is usually a justified reason, however, I do aim to acknowledge accordingly so please let me know if you believe that I have not offered acknowledgments when and where I should have… I am always learning and in my journey to advance the practice and performance of magic as an art, I will always do the right thing and offer FANX, credit and acknowledgment. Sometimes the method is more beautiful than the effect. Watching the exposed view was a work of art!

The tenacious method is so diabolical and out front it is unbelievable. The effort in learning the advanced handling I would find to be worth over refalse shuffling more times. Congrats on what I consider to be the dirtiest slight I've seen you show in some time.

When I saw the exposed angle it was incredible. It was the first time that the method was even more beautiful than the effect. Incredible, man.

How does it feel knowing that you consistently inspire us all to see the beauty & art of sleight of hand? I know, because we can clearly see how passionate you are about sleights & deceptions, but did you ever think that you’d have this much of an impact in this art form? I’m genuinely curious. - With much love from Malliance 3♦️

The mirror is reflecting an earlier recording, being displayed on a monitor just off the screen to the left. If you look at the angle betwen our viewpoint and the mirror, and the mirror and Daniel, you'll realize he's right in front of it, but because of the angles of reflection, we couldn't see what's in front of the mirror, we see what's off-axis the same distance as we are. In other words, what we see in the mirror is something on the other side of Daniel that is the same distance from Daniel as we are. tl;dr - we're looking at the reflection of a monitor.
