This has been very helpful in my year of mourning. I had never davened for the Amud before and this video gave me the confidence to do so, thank you so much for the great service you have provided!

I was wondering if you have available a pdf downloadable siddur.

Technically, the third you are singing is somewhere in between a minor and a major third. I was wondering if you are aware of this and if it is intentional. This creates a special effect which I find fascinating, and may very well be the primary distinguishing characteristic of the basic melody.

I don't think its intentional in the sense that others don't usually do it but I also noticed it. Well spotted.

Love the teaching. Question does the Sephardic use Adonai instead of HaShem. It seems to flow better with a 3 syllable rather than 2.
@Qrayon4 жыл бұрын
Ashkenazim only say Ad-nai during actual prayer or when reading the Torah scroll during the service. I'm sure it's the same with Sephardim. "HaShem" is used when not actually praying in order to avoid taking G-d's name in vain.

That and say Elo Keem because it’s a practice as well

Shalom aleichiem. The transcript doesn't fit the pronunciation for Shacharit in either אנגלית or עברית. If possible can a correction be made please.

I wonder if anyone ever considered that, by calling HaKadosh Baruch Hu "HaShem" or "Adonai", or even G-d, that doing so is actually an insult to Him?
