are they quick growing and could i have my poulowina in my big contaier with my vivax

Yes, Laburnum trees grow very quickly, however their eventual height is not huge, once they are about 10 years old they usually reach their full size and don't get much bigger. Both Vivax and Paulownia are very large plants so they would be best in their own containers.

Another reason to deadhead these are that you do not want them to spread outside your garden. They can be quite bad for the local flora with displacement and changing the ground conditions when they are outside their orginal range of the Alps.

I have mine 18 months. It blooms but doesnt appear to grow

At 18 months it will still be settling in and getting its roots established. In the first year my trees flowered and had almost no growth, then the second year was a little better, then they really started to grow well in the third year. They grow lots for the first month after flowering, then they won't grow again until next spring. If your trees are still struggling to grow next year make sure they are watered during any dry spells and add some tree and shrub fertiliser in spring.
