Just on my way out of a very toxic marriage with my extremely narcissistic husband. I have been hanging on and praying for change. But he has said no to biblical counsel. I have tried everything. This video was spot on! Thank you so much for allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you in the message that you shared. From point one to point #5 great news and scripture to someone in this type of situation. God bless you!

Thank you for your encouraging testimony. Been married to an extreme narcissist for 25 years.. I’ve tried prayers… he refuse counseling.. IT’S BEEN SO DIFFICULT TO LOVE & often times resented…I am an ordained pastor, chaplain, Christian counselor, worship and prison ministries, but it’s been difficult… considered stepping down, but I know it’s my calling in fulfillment of the great commission. Please pray for me.

Right they see it as weakness… these people arent normal brothers and sisters in Christ where you overlook offense. I get out the Psalms and pray enemy prayers against the narcs in my life. David asked for them to get trapped in their schemes.

Yes that was my marriage. The more love I gave the more he acted out. I engaged to my own detriment. I gave my pearls to swine. I got entangled in the devil's snare

One positive thing about being married to a narcissistic husband,is that I am constantly led to repentance,as I have to check my heart every day in responding to ky husband. But I won't lie, some days I forget to guard my heart and it hurts. But it keeps me on my knees in prayer for a husband that really is just so broken..

I want to love my father. I don’t want to believe he’s a horrible person. I do pray for his well-being and that action is loving. So it seems possible to be really angry and hurt and show effort to love him at the same time. It feels like such a dichotomy pulling back and forth inside. I honestly don’t think my father even knows how to love anyone, he just thinks he does. I don’t see 1 Corinthians 13 love from this man. This greatly saddens me. I pray God’s mercy on his soul. And I thank God for his mercy on me through faith in the shed blood of Christ.

There is a very big difference in narcissistic traits that we all can have and dealing with someone who has narcissistic personality disorder . I have tried to reason, love, and be kind . However that is not doable with someone who wants to harm you financially, emotionally , and psychologically. There is no reasoning. It’s all guarding and seeking council. Specially when you are divorcing one who is completely filled with deception and lies. There is only so much looking at yourself you can do to try and make a situation better with a mentally delusional person.

I 100% agree with you on this one. 💯. There's no amount of kindness you can show them, tht will cause them to change. The lies, manipulation, smear campaign...all of it. I lost everything, I'm starting over by God's grace. I just walked away. 🚶♂️ I have my peace. I'm glad I don't have kids with this person.

Agree! King David ran and hid in a cave from King Saul. He said for my love they are my adversaries but I give myself to prayer. - Psalm 109 They rejoice in our pain and suffering. Best to not share anything with them and spare your words if you have to live with them or work with them.

It's even worse when they are a Christian, listen to worship music and volunteer at the church. The ultimate mask and I can only sit back and see it play out in public while being portrayed as the "lying liar who lies". Lord continue to work within all of us and protect our children.

How do you guard your heart when it’s been hurt so bad already?
@crazilyhappy111 ай бұрын
It's even more necessary now that its fragile. I'd say it's impossible without the help of God so pray about your hurts. Give them to Jesus. I realised I was securing myself with that pain as a means of preventing it from happening again. But you can't guard your heart with pain. God is our refuge. Jesus is our Advocate. He is our healer. And vengeance is His. I also realised I needed to forgive and let the hurts go and not idolise them. Pray for the person. Even if you view them as your enemy, the Word says love your enemies and pray for ppl who use and persecute. Anything we put above God, in the place of God is an idol. If you go to the hurt and pain for security instead of Him it becomes an idol. And also read the Psalms everyday several times a day. Recognise your identity in Christ. If you know who you are its difficult to be hurt by others actions. Imagine royalty being hurt by the words of a peasant. Remember how David as a boy saw Goliath even if he was much bigger, he said who is this uncircumcised philistine...David knew that his covenant with God made him superior to Goliath. How much more ours in Christ. Im praying that the peace that passes all understanding guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus our Lord.❤

There are a few things that can be done. The “heart” is a figuratively way to say “mind”. So when the actions of a narcissist comes your way, think it’s not you, you didn’t do anything wrong, you’re fine, God is your shield, etc… think positively, think the right things.

Excellent words of wisdom brother. For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. ❤

Sometimes you cannot kill them with kindness because of how resistant and angry they are. Stonewalling them throws them off and you don't have to stonewall in a mean fashion but just stop interacting as much as possible with them whenever possible. Some people are beyond narcissistic and think they should be treated as your god.

I almost skipped this video because I think narcissism has been blown out of proportion and everyone labels their EX as one. But I like your videos and watched it anyway and Wow!…. I had no idea about the meaning of coals on their heads. It hit home with me, because all my life I was criticized for “killing people with kindness”. I have done a lot of wrongs in my life. But conflict resolution is one of the few things I get right.

I like your videos but when you are dealing with real narcissist, love , care, compassion etc won’t work out because they don’t have empathy what’s why they are narcissists . I tolerated 18 years and completely blindly believed that one day God going to change him . But at the end he cheated on me. However God has made me to be independent way before that happened and also God gave me complete recovery with in 3 months. So tolerate them or leave them, it’s totally up to you but they will never change but God will guide you through.

Correct! I agree with you. It does not work! They think they deserve our love. Like King David said who was surrounded by these people/enemies - “For my love they are my adversaries, but I give myself unto prayer. They rewarded me evil for good. ” - Psalm 109:4-5 They rejoice at our hurt and sufferings. They rejoice in evil. God bless you. Hope you are doing ok!

😂😂 a narcissist won’t go to bed thinking “they are so nice, why did I talk to them like that?”. This kind of false info is damaging. I continued to be verbally and physically abused because I was “loving like Jesus”. Sometimes you need to take the axe to the root. What fellowship does the light have with darkness?

Right church tells us to keep loving its not wisdom to keep giving to someone who has evil in their heart toward you. Not with Pharoah. You let God deal. Takes wisdom to know what level of evil you are dealing with. There is no “loving” a Jezebel. Church has so many people stuck in cycles of abuse. Jesus wouldnt tell us to continue to fellowship with a diseased tree. Leave them to be dealt with by our loving Father who can correct them.
