as an angry person. it's a lot easier to deal and deflect anger than it is to be less of an angry person. I've been on both ends so I know. it is strange, but I've learned to just accept anger for what it is and not to take things so personally. getting angry back, especially when they aren't directly mad at you only fuels the flames.

That Guy with an Umbrella realized what they are saying is you shouldn’t be a punching bag by the verbal attacker. It’s wise to not get pissed off over small things, but most can’t be helped. The attacker is the one at fault. Not the one trying to defend themselves. They say anger is ok as it’s human, but only if it doesn’t cause harm. The person on defense is not doing so. So it is valid. So we shouldn’t be at fault to defend ourselves.

Now i try to roll my eyes inside & dont engage. 🤷‍♀️ And tell myself “well this has nothing to do with me-maybe theyll feel better in time, im walking away as this isnt productive.” Still sometimes fall into holes of trying to understand Too much. Sometimes people have issues & they dont have much to do with you. We all have our own issues & when people refuse to own theirs youre not gonna “win” with them, one person is gonna have to submit & not exist fully while the other gets their way. Just keep a respectful distance with those folks if a lack of equality is a deal-breaker.
