When I was serving tables at Olive Garden a few years ago, a young lady came in on Valentine’s Day with her boyfriend. She was wearing a sporty crop top that wasn’t too far off of just a push up bra. some Karen eating with her family saw this. She went on Facebook live and stood at the end of her table recording saying stuff like “you whore, this is a family restaurant. You’re ruining everyone’s meals.” You know… Karen shit… Well, I was on my way to deliver a bowl of soup to the table next to her and “accidentally” ran into said Karen sending her phone to the floor, and soup all over the both of us. She then turned her rage to me and my 70 year old no-bullshit Chinese boss literally called the cops on her. I was worried she would try and get me in legal trouble for spilling warmish soup on her, but my boss cut me and said “enjoy a night off, I’ll handle this.”

I didn't have to interact with this Karen, but I heard the whole thing. I was in the kitchen, making burgers at Culver's, when some in the the drive thru came. The person taking the order was my friend (and manager) Ava. She starts by saying "Hello, welcome to Culver's. What can we make fresh for you today?" Then the person ordering said "Umm hi. I came here 4 days ago and I didn't get my onion rings with that order. So I was wondering if I could get those today for free when I order my meal please." She sounded nice (at first), so Ava being a nice person, said yes. The Karen then went on ordering everything. But she ordered everything family sized, which at the time wasn't that weird. But when Ava said the price if the meal, the Karen raged. "I wanted my entire meal for free because you guys messed up and missed my onion rings!" Ava then came back saying "We can't do that since we only missed the onion rings, not the whole meal." But the Karen wasn't having it. So like most of these situations, she asked for the manager. But then Ava came back with "But I am the manager." Karen wasn't having it. So she kept screaming and yelling the whole time. She was yelling for so long, Ava was able to just go in the back to talk about this situation with me and others, but we heard the whole thing and was still hearing it. It all ended when the Karen said "You know what? F**k you! I'm leaving and never coming back!" Ava then responded with "Thank you! Never see you at the window!"

I once had a Karen at the pharmacy who had meds that weren't ready yet. She would get to the front of the line, get told she had to wait, bitch, get back in line, then ask about her meds again when she got to the front. Repeat process. There was one other person there, and I couldn't fill scripts while working the register. Eventually, the whole line was nothing but Karens running this loop. Eventually I ask one, "who do you think bottles your pills, and how do you think I'm supposed to do that when you need me to tell you your pills aren't bottled yet every 3 minutes?" She demanded to talk to the manager, and the first thing the manager said when she finished her story was "so do you want your pills or do you want to complain?"
