This parent centric approach is really super toxic.The fact that someone can understand their children's feelings feels so good.Should these things b disclosed to close friends? Or relatives ? As I've seen mostly ppl make fun and add on to the gossip.so the child has to carry the burden alone and pretend everything is good in the family.

Definitely not relatives. They behave like assholes. But yes, making close friends and those who are emotionally mature can really help alot. Remember that, you don't owe anyone your time and energy who doesn't respect you.
