I have one of the best coaches- he talks to the goalies only when he tells us to put the nets in their place and he just jokes around with everybody

The only thing my coach said about the goalie was that whatever he says counts. If the goalie tells a player to stand somewhere, the player has to move. If the goalie tells you to get off the ice, you do. It is great and makes sense. The only thing he ever told me was to not be afraid to tell the other players what to do.
