Man omg my 7 month old baby rolled off the bed it happened so fast!!! On minute I had him in the middle of the bed I turn around to turn the TV channel and I look back at him rolling to the floor.. I just immediately picked him up I prayed to God checked his head continuously and now I can't sleep. I learned my lesson I don't give a dam if I'm just picking something up off the floor the baby is going in the crib next time I leave the room or if my focus in not on him.

@@alvinakhan3138 its going to happen more sadly, i hope it doesn’t but if it does, just know that our babies heads are stranger than we think, just scan their heads, look at their eyes or any obvious signs if head trauma, but if its a fall from a chair, bed, couch etc it wont be too concerning

I am ashamed to say that my baby has fallen off the bed more than once. I feel like a horrible mom! But it happens so quickly and out of no where! Be very very careful. My little one is completely fine tho. She is smiling not 3 minutes later… doesn’t excuse the fact that I wasn’t watching her in that moment because she wasn’t crawling yet… or had snoozed off when breast feeding… and I feel like such an unreliable mom because of it!!! But I love my baby and will always try to do better for her… she has never gotten an injury from falling off the bed.

Baby fell off bed on vacation, approx 3 feet high. Pretty high if you ask me, having a 20 lb baby just going down. Mom just got done feeding in the morning after waking up, baby then crawled over pillow barrier and fell. I think she caught herself with her chest, hands, nose and head. (I think she caught herself like that because she was having a problem later in the day with breathing but I’ll get to that later) Bruise is visible on her forehead, and nose is red from carpet. We iced it, fast forward to our flight later that day. At the airport and it’s time for a diaper change, I take her to bathroom and upon putting on new diaper she has a sudden occurrence of gasping for air. Like an abnormal hiccup if you will. I roll her over to help with breathing, couldn’t even put her diaper on. That’s how important it was to me knowing she fell earlier. On the flight home she kept gasping for air, while trying to feed, she’s also teething and has bad booty rash so all this combined with a possible headache as well. My poor baby I had to be strong for the family. I wanted to cry so bad. As soon as we landed back in our home state we went to ER. Cat scan came back fine, along with chest ex ray. Kept urging drs to check out the abnormal hiccups to their best ability, we now can only record it when it happens which is our best bet of showing them the symptom. All in all they released us, baby is sleeping in the crib again at home. And I say all this so all parents can be aware. I don’t know if airports let you check in cribs but I’m defiantly considering it, idc how much it cost. Stay safe y’all and god bless.

My baby fell off my bed. Thankfully I have a low bed. Exactly 1.5 feet high. She only cried for a couple seconds and started eating oatmeal shortly after smiling like nothing happened. No bruises or sign of any pain. But it definitely was a learning experience. I called the hospital just to seek advice and they had me on hold for an hour. I’m assuming because I said she seemed fine there was no urgency to assist me. Online it says anything under 3ft usually doesn’t cause injury. I think I’m okay but I can’t help but feel guilty.

Same with my 3mos old who fell from 2ft down to out solid cement floor 😭😭 Im dying of being guilt that I don’t ever imagine thay this would happened to her 😭there’s no bruises or vomiting episodes but my baby is really hard to calm / play rn she have a lot of time of crying and irritable that playing and talking like before she fell . But it’ll stop once we start to grab her and lifted. Do i need to go to the hospital or should i stay calm and think that the reason is just a trauma from what she felt from the pain? Or is she really in pain reason for her crying? But why did she stop once we lift her? Please help 😭😭
