Thanks for making the video, but it also shows why many people find it hard to learn DAX. The debugging takes minutes and not seconds. and it's not native to Power BI, it becomes hard. Compare this with F9 in Excel ... you select part of the Excel-formula, press F9 and get a instant preview-result. That's what we need.

Hi Ola, Thank you for posting your query onto our channel. We really appreciate you taking your valuable time to post it. Firstly, Power BI is not Excel. Yes, there're similarities but one works at a columnar level and other works at a row level and that's why debugging in Excel is easier because formula is written keeping in mind cell references for each row and one can check the formula by clicking on that individual cell whereas in Power BI, a measure is executed over the column but at the back-end of the engine, it still iterates row-by-row only. The type of debugging that you're looking for in Power BI is not available as of now.
