"Some of our astute followers have noticed me slurring my words. I am not drunk but working with Brad it would be justifiable. I had 6 infected cysts removed from my mouth (noncancerous) and I have residual scar tissue and numbness. I will try to do better. Thanks Bob."

Good thing you know your anxiety is postural! Because doctors only prescribe pills and says we're perfectly fine but hypochondriac 🙄 while real problem is still there, getting bigger.

This is really amazing. I've been suffering problems on my right side from my hip to the base of my skull. Multiple issues in the shoulder, muscle spasms, hyperkyphosis, lordosis issues, and as recently "scoliosis" (just the shape caused by spasms and alignment and not permanent) and no answers or relief outside of steroid/Toradol injections at the ER when i seize up. Thank you for helping the guys like me who can't get anything from our docs and have to figure stuff out on our own.

One thing to use for relieving tension in neck is the simple soft collar fir neck. I use this every time I feel tension. It works .

Great info. You guys should really consider using a mic on a boom stand like podcasters use.

Excellent idea! It would be fairly easy to mic that space.

This was a one-off because of the towel...their mic's work great 99.99% of the time. Also, don't they move around too much for a podcaster's mic?
@omegalamda31453 жыл бұрын
Naw.. No need for a BLUE mic here, at the risk of losing the chemistry. There’s something delightfully earnest about this format. The pacing as well as the humorously subtle passive aggressive quips between each other is very relaxing to watch much like a British sitcom. The accumulated knowledge they bring to the table is clearly articulated and respectfully augmented by the other only when necessary. When Brad tossed the example spine onto the floor, Bobs eye roll was hilarious. That alone released the tension knot in my neck b4 I even tried Brads towel tip!

There is no miracle cure for something that takes 65 yrs (in my case) to develop. Stretching the area of the neck can allow healing in time along with corrected posture reminders each day. My right arm pain is constant since last last November but is healing while I stretch each day since. For anyone like me time is required and patience. Thanks Thanks

(Thanks guys)... recently read that fully tucking the chin without elongating the neck can create equally severe problems. Could you elaborate on the validity or include in future video? 💙
@ColonelCampbellAI20243 жыл бұрын
"Do NOT tuck chin fully, especially with craniocervical extension as it may narrow the AtlantoStyloid Interval (ASI). 'Elongate' the neck without overextension or flexing craniocervical junction (head) to maintain/promote a broad ASI. (Osar 2012, Larsen 2018c) Continuous tucking causes styloid process to shift down & back, narrowing the (ASI), (neurovascular bundle IJV + CN9-12 transmits through). Compression may cause intracranial hypertension, chronic fatigue, orthostatic disorders, vision impairment, audiovestibular disorders, etc. (Jayaraman 2012, Higgins 2015, 2017, Larsen 2018c) . Biomechanical, extracranial stenosis of Internal Jugular (IJV), an increasingly recognized problem, frequently occurs between the atlas & styloid process. May occur as sequela of forward atlantal subluxation, as well as due to intermittent, positional obstruction. (Larsen 2018c, Gweon 2011, Dashti 2012, Higgins 2015, 2017, treningogrehab.no/atlas) . Intracranial hypertension is shown problematic despite normal lumbar punctures & cerebral MRI scan. (May cause depression, severe fatigue, orthostatic headache, tachycardia, etc. [Higgins 2015, 2017, Larsen 2018c]). Subsequent chronic venous congestion may strain dural membrane to perforate, resulting in CSF leakage & intracranial HYPOtension.

Is is this wise to do if you have the facet joint instability? Or EDS? Or injury to the sub occipital area, like AOM? Atlanto-Occipital Membrane? Some get worse with Chin Tucks. And I'm leary about Stretching the suboccipitals... I see many stating they feel great..but do they remain?
