How To Decorate Your Nail Art Brushes - 3D Acrylic Flowers and BLING!!!!

Hi Guys,
A few weeks ago I was teaching a class of Nail techs and as they were working their little socks off, I was doodling!!
But I am sure you have noticed that when you're a nail tech, doodling gets much more creative than just a Biro and a piece of paper.
I found myself adding 3D flower one of the brushes lying on my desk and thought, "Well, why not do a whole video on it".
So here we are!
Doing art on your brushes is a great way to practice and it also has the added bonus of making your tools look really pretty while being an amazing advertising tool. When a client sees them, they might just ask for something similar, which means you can charge a little bit extra.
I really like to do this kind of thing but there are some do's and some don't, so watch the video to find out what they are and if you decide to do this to your own brushes and tools, make sure you share it with us on our Facebook and Instagram pages

Naio Nails .... I was thinking and something 3d with metallics and geometrical shapes. Even holiday themes would be awesome. Sea shells! OMG! Please, I need some beautiful seashells demonstrated. I never seem to get them even close!

Naio Nails I aquarium all my brushes lol I've used the chrome ,pigments ,holo etc and looks awesome.

Naio Nails yeh i once put angel paper all the way around my brush and capped it... then using acrylic i put some spikey studs around the end of it.. ive also swarovski'd my crystal katana, all of it apart from where it has the name crystal katana.. i swarovski'd my dappen dish.. glued spikey studs on my dappen dish.. and also had capped holographic on my flat ceramic dappen dish.. lol... ive made a 3D unicorn horn and stuck it to the end of my brush that had swarovski crystals covering the hole thing... i cant hide my creative side ever lol... always trying to think of new things.. i LOVE this video.. amazing.. so talented.. i even once had fairy wings made out of acrylic and hard gel stuck to one of my gel polish racks.. made a MJ glitter glove out of acrylic and stuck it on a little stylish mirror and stuck that whole thing to the front of my nail display photo album (yes, man in the mirror is my fave MJ song)... i could go on and on and on... but i dont want to have an entire novel for you to have to read lol!! #kirstymeakinismyqueen #nailidol #keepsitreal

I think this is SUCH a good idea! There are so many good things about doing this to your brushes as a nail artist. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but it shows your talent! So it's like a mini advertisement haha! People will probably look at the brushes and ask for more elaborate designs! Plus, you could totally make a living off decorating brushes (and other types of accessories)!!!

Thinking about your brush, when it gets to that point where it's needing to be replaced, put it into a shadow box like you do your competition nail art. It would make a fabulous display.
