Gosh, Patti, I don't know what I like more -- your projects or your nature pix !! : ) -- we just got freezing cold, bitter rain in that last storm -- how is your deer family? -- This was not my orig. idea, but once you try this, I bet you'll never use a reg. paint brush again -- go to the dollar tree and in their makeup section, the brand is wet and wild, I think? But it's white with pink bristles -- it's a blush brush -- it comes in three sizes, make sure you get the large one -- you might as well pick up a couple because it's wonderful, especially working with triple thick -- because the brush is so soft, it goes around objects like a dream -- and it's really great putting down a layer of mod-podge, both under and over. I bet it would work well with the napkin decoupage, too. And then clean up is a breeze with soap and warm water -- I love this napkin print, and I never even thought you could add texture medium over a napkin -- but why not, once it's dried -- you have THE BEST ideas. I love decoupage, and I never would have tried it without watching your videos -- This project is so simple, but it's one of my favorite things to do -- and that's to decoupage tiles -- the small, white ones are 16 cents each at Lowes -- I just bought a case -- I sandpaper the top, wipe it down and then add chalk paint -- again, learned from you -- one thing I really like to do is print out French script in bold black -- I only have an inkjet printer, but if you let it dry then seal it with a fixative, like hair spray, it works -- I also do the technique of putting down ModPodge on top of the dried chalk paint, let it dry -- in the oven !! Ha. -- and then iron on the French script -- then another trip to the oven -- I always wait until the next day -- if I had a laser printer, you could do it right away -- then apply a pretty napkin using the same modpodge, let it dry and then iron on the napkin -- usually a rose pattern -- I put it in the oven, and the next day I seal it with triple thick and glitter -- it comes out every single time -- I also printed out a couple of pages and took it to officemax and printed out 20 sheets -- two bucks -- hope you and the hubs and critters have a great weekend !!!
