Out of the few spray paint and skull vids I've seen, yours is definitely the best. I've watched a lot of hydro dipping videos, and your technique is definitely more like the professionals. And thanks for showing the finished product! For some reason nobody does that in these videos

I've done this a few times with metallic points on a dark base for PC parts such as graphic card plastic fan covers and case cooling fan nacelles. Very important to seal your dried parts with a clear spray or your work will attract and hold onto all kinds of dust.

@gaylahasbel25066 жыл бұрын
Hey Mike, thanks for sharing! 2 quick questions: do you use a sealer after the paint has dried? And what is the best way to clean the skulls?
@ObviouslyOutdoorsmen6 жыл бұрын
You can use clear coat after wards depending on what brand of paint. The brand I use leaves a nice shiny coat but to give it protection you can use a clear coat. And to clean skulls you can boil them with a borax mixture, search up the exact quantities, then you might have to go in and pick away the loose meat.

@Punkichu7 жыл бұрын
will do!! i will do a test as i have a few small animal skulls and half a cow skull before i attempt the impala as i do not want to ruin that. if all goes well i'll do a video for that one, i'll credit you for the idea and upload it in my vlog. time frame might be a bit - few other projects in works atm. but i will def let you know so you can check it out :)
@fiendlyproductions6 жыл бұрын
TIP: use luke warm water to dip. for some reason cold water will cause the paint to harder on the surface. If you do use cold water you've gotta be quick, if you use warmer water you'll have more time to focus on the details like patterns in your mix.

I have looked and was not sure if it has been answered. If it has sorry for asking, but here goes. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I spray the different colors and when I go to "mix" the lines, some colors attache to the thing I am pulling through the different color and some do not. This is before I am dipping my skull. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help.
