Pray for me I’ve been struggling with this. UPDATE: I’ve gotten so much better! I now see when the flesh is tempting me. This is what you must do. A single thought, can destroy you. You much catch when just a little though is slipping into you’re mind a get rid of it. If that means pray then you must pray. Just make sure to NEVER fight lust. Flee from it. For it is written that you should flee and not fight. Lust is too strong for us mortal humans. Only love ❤

the strugle will be long but you must make conscious efforts to stop. Pray and meditate on the Lord. Exercise and end it with meditation such as this video playing in the back ground. Start your day with meditation aswel because when we are tired is when the enemy strikes hard.

You mustn't only pray or read the Bible when you feel like it. Pray for God's wisdom and guidance and ask for His help for you to remain committed to Him and Faithful to Him. Don't rely on your feelings, trust in God's guidance through the Holy Spirit(who will guide you according to God's will and ways). I prayed for you 🙏.

I’ve been clean for 2 days and instead of watching qorn I pray the Holy Rosary, and draw holy icons, it helps to not use my phone and when I feel tempted I pray a Our Father and it helps to give strength :) May God have mercy on us sinners and show us a way out during temptation Amen 🙏🏼❤️

I have been on a lust path since the age of 12, I am almost 22 now. Since I started falling into this horrible sin, I have been lukewarm, only 4 years ago I started to look for a way to escape this nonsense. Failed every year until now. For a year and a half I started to look more seriously into my faith (Always been Catholic). I still feel lukewarm, and I am afraid that Lord Jesus Christ is going to spit me. This year and a half have been life changing for sure, I am slowly gaining my ground against lust, with the help of the holy spirit that I have been ignoring since 12, but has been there for me all the time. Please pray for me, pray that our Lord Jesus Christ strikes me dead so I can be reborn in Him, Amen...

Im 32 and still waging war with lust. Probably started around my 9 or 10 years old and got worse around 12-13 and onwards. At 17 I got my first gf and it got worse because of that and after 2.5 years she broke up and I was devastated. Only at the age of 25 or so i started realizing it was truly sin. Trying to stop since then but I have been so addicted and it's such a habit so I always fail and fall. It used to be multiple times a day.. sometimes I still have that happen.. and having a gf for 6 years now. I want to marry her so atleast then that would be less sinful when it's with her.. but I know that's not the solution for lust and it won't go away. I feel like the most useless person on earth and history before God. I always let Him down.. I hate the sin but not enough. One of the reasons I did it is to forget my pain because of my chronic disease, just to forget the pain for a bit .. but after I always feel disgusting, sad and angry at myself because I always let Him down.. it breaks my heart. Please pray for me to find a way out of this addiction and habit and for healing of my chronic health problem

You don't defeat lust. Stop thinking you have what it takes to "defeat" passions, you'll only grow in pride. Temptations are sent to perfect our souls. Don't misunderstand, you can become better at indulging and resisting. But what's most important is leaning on the Lord prior to falling but if you do fall, repent genuinely and rise again O’sinner.

The thing with lust that I am realizing is it doesn’t come back in entirety. Instead, it’s a small drip that we can justify in small doses, a lie from the enemy. That drip continues and before you know it, you are in a pool. I heard a saying that helps make this idea tangible - “You cannot stop a bird from flying over your head, but you can stop it from building its nest.” The invasive thoughts will come - that’s part of our fleshly experience here on earth. But what we do with those thoughts when we let them take up our mind and spend time on them is the bird building its nest. Stay strong, brothers and sisters! This is the good fight, and one that is never truly accomplished until our lives are finished on earth. Beware of the warning signs and stay rooted in the Word and in the faith. AMEN!

I was scared that I was searing my conscience last time I fell. I asked for The Holy Spirit for Forgiveness in Jesus' name. He helped me confess all my sins individually through His Conviction. It's by Grace we are saved, not of works. I asked Him to save me from my flesh & seperated myself from my phone & sought Him in nature. Peace came over me & He told me to stop willfully sinning. Sanctification is a process, it's not instant, but His Forgiveness through Repentance & Faith allows His Holy Spirit to quicken a good work in me & live in my spirit and be one with Christ. Amen. Unfortunately it's not that simple. Because our bodies have biological and chemical reactions that lead to lust. Temptation will also show up somehow, is how we react to temptation that will determine our success.
