Please parents, be diligent and gentle. This is no joke. Don’t assume your kids are not watching things they shouldn’t. Help them and be gentle with them. From first hand experience I can tell you this is not something to mess with. Help your kids. So much shame I battle to this day. I wish someone would have come beside me and helped me and been gentle. Don’t make it so that your kids are too scared to tell you things. Don’t allow the enemy to use that. Secrets have weight.

I agree, this is an excellent point. I am 22 years old, I’ll be 23 but I’ve been struggling with lust/sexual sin for a VERY long time. My parents weren’t very good at being gentle or even making me feel comfortable to talk to them without feeling dirty or shameful. My parents love me and I love them, but it’s important for parents to know that you can still discipline and be a parent but also help your kids to know they can talk to you to.

When you brought up that little 5 yo girl, who seemed to be possessed, saying the sexual things to her father’s friends: even though I didn’t do that, necessarily, I know that my father’s porn addiction when I was growing up, that lust spirit, had influenced me at a very early age. I saw my dad‘s pornography collection when I was only eight or nine years old. That totally had skewed and veered my life at a very early age, age 14, to begin fornicating with my then boyfriend at the time. It has ruined several relationships, and almost my present marriage in 2012 to my wonderful Christian husband of 20 years. I just thank God for His redemption, forgiveness and regeneration. This is where I struggle the most. I was molested multiple times as a child. I'm not even sure if that's why I struggle, but that's what I tell myself. Regardless of the reason - I do so well for some time, but I eventually fall. I feel like I'm doing all the right things. I read my Bible daily. I've tried fasting and praying. I've confessed my addiction to my wife. I've tried self deliverance. I've also attended many deliverance meetings. Manifestations happened and demons were cast out. For a time it seemed things were going great, but all it takes is one bad day, one sexual dream, one temptation. Sometimes I can fight and flee. Other times it's an extreme burning lust and I'm in a fight I eventually end up losing. The only conclusions I have left is that I'm simply not relying on God enough or that I'm just blind to all the things I'm doing wrong that eventually lead to me falling to this sin. My wife and I now have a newborn daughter and the fact I still struggle in this area disgusts me. What kind of man, husband and father am I? I'm at the end of my rope here and the only hope I have is Jesus Christ. I pray constantly for freedom and victory over lust. The enemy uses condemnation and past trauma against me to keep me in a defeated mindset. Anyways, I'm not even sure if I have a question. Just felt compelled to share. I will ask for prayers, though, and for the Lord to kill and burn out this deep rooted sin. Thank you and God bless you in Jesus name.

Hi, I just want to share one of my personal tactics I do when dealing with lust... though I'm still dealing with it right now, I hope you can pray for me too... Running away - well for me, social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, KZbin, and Games that have sensual scenes (even if it is soft or a little bit), Manga/Comics, etc... these are the things that make me see something that "turn" me "on", that's why if I can't delete some apps, I usually block the accounts that post erotic contents, it's not perfect but it works, though deleting the app seems more appropriate for the word "run away" but sometimes blocking the accounts could do the trick, it's especially true in my Instagram right now.

Sin's tentacles ensare countless victims with the lie, "It only hurts you." It hurts MOST The One Who endured the greatest torture and gave His very Life to save us from our sin! "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" but "God is too Holy to look upon sin" and "No unclean shall enter His Presence." ETERNITY is too great a price to pay for momentary, fleeting pleasure. We must join God's Great Army, and as commissioned, "Rescue the Perishing." It doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to know we can't do that if we ourselves are bound. Truly, truly is said, "LIVE FREE OR DIE!"

You can try to fast 3 days only prayer and bible, water or Daniel fast to break some strongholds of course no mobile, no social media and no distraction as long as possible. Hope it helps. I had a problem with porn for years. Since I was a kid. The best thing I ever done was admit it to my wife. And repent. I no longer have the desire to watch it. Also it kills are attraction to our spouse. When you stop it you'd be surprised at how much more attractive your spouse becomes. It's spiritual death. I pray anyone who is struggling with this is delivered in Jesus name. Admit it! And quit it!
