well, every time I try the jockey, when the opponent switches direction, my player will keep running like 5 to 10 meters before changing direction. and the funny thing is I anticipate the direction change so I try to do it before the the attacker does it and my player still end up that far away

Done this in advance defending but not tried on tactical I presume it works too, while on legacy holding X longer while your opponent is breaking away then tap twice when closer

I think EA forgot defending is an art and that a player should to be good at it to actually win something. I feel sorry for him, he seems quite enthusiastic about defending in the video, but EA thought nah we just let AI do all that for you. It is a shame, no one is defending anymore. AI does all that for you. You have no chance beating the AI press. I would be interested in a video that beats the AI press. Terrible game!
