I remember playing futsal with friends during university year, we're all very newb compared to the other teams. We implement zone defense and try to get lucky goals/penalty. We got into the semi-final, only beaten by the champion of the tournament hahahahahha. Defense>Offense indeed

@@CoachThiagoThe defense is very similar to basketball. Like you mentioned the team needs to know how the zone works and communication is key. In basketball, we have different zones for particular situations. In other words, a particular zone may not mitigate or solve a particular situation and the reason for different zones. In another note, If I'm not mistaken futsal allows "screens" to remove pressure from the player with the ball. Do all governing bodies have the same rules?

@@chimpun1979 That's true. Futsal is a combination of different sports, including Basketball, as per the number of players, court sizes, etc. Screens are also allowed in the game, just like in BB. I'm not sure if all governing bodies have the same rules, but if they follow FIFA rules, it's allowed.
