what abt opponent who just sprints? no matter how early i switch my player to put them into position the opponent just runs right pass them if i try to tackle i just end up fouling them but if i try to do that they or their ai would tackle me and no matter what my players always seem to be slower than they are, i did a step over speed boosted with ronaldo and i saw king idk which version but he caught up pretty easy and every opponent i play just runs in a straight line through my defence

have your back line stay back and try to time the tackle after he touches the ball to keep sprinting. or just jockey and plant yourself in front of them.
