I have that exact freezer...I just spent an hour defrosting it! Heading for the store now while it is still clean 😎

Will your freezer still cool correctly with this stuff in it. Does it mess up any of the seals.

Where do you get this press & seal thing? Assuming i need to put it in BEFORE the freezer freezes over so this video was no help for the condition my freezer is in now but looks brill for next time!!

It looked to me that you put up the film wrapper onto the surrounding walls of the freezer. So, when the ice do developed, how could the ice stick to the wrappers? All you do is pull the wrappers away from the walls and the ice comes with it? That's an amazing trick. I might try that for my chest freezer.

Just bought a chest freezer. Instructions do not recommend it because it interferes with air circulation

I have my freezing pipes exposed at the top in an old fridge (not hidden behind the wall at the back). Can I put the plastic wrap over these or will they totally stick or maybe reduce the efficiency?

I love this I’m defrosting my freezer now and I love press and seal wrap so I’m gonna try that when I’m done to make it easier for next time

Recently I tried chipping away at the ice with a hammer and screwdriver; applying the tip of the screwdriver to the ice and gently (or so I thought) tapping the head of the screwdriver with the hammer. I ended up making a crack in the inner wall of the freezer. This completely fucked the freezer and caused nasty-smelling chemicals to seep out and contaminate the food so it all had to be binned. I suppose I should be thankful it was only a cheap model and I had already had it 15 months. Don't make the mistake I made!

I did that too hahaha..seems like a good idea, but in the end I cracked the bottom layer of my freezer

That's exactly what I used to do when I was 21 22 years old now I'm in my 50s you live and learn not to do things like that again when my parents tried telling me to don't do that I ignored them,,, but at that age I thought I knew everything and then I would have a right-winge on when I had to a go and buy a new freezer and I didn't have the money I had to sign on the dotted line and get myself into debt lol eeee when I think back I wish I knew then what I know now

I did clean it and dry it. It stuck to the walls top and bottom, but not the back. ????

How does one normally do it? Just turn it off and let it defrost and put a towel in there to catch the water?

What about removing all food and put in a cool bag. Use car windscreen De icer to melt ice. Then wash the inside of the fridge with detergent and hot water. Allow to dry and then put food back.

The peeling part....the video went too fast to actually watch the peeling process. It was hard to follow so remember there are lots of beginners out there trying to solve their problems and the video need to be at a normal speed.
@paquinet79394 жыл бұрын
You can use a slower speed of reproduction in the video. I think we could see better how she's doing without the shelves.

Nice gesture but in my country this is too expensive to play with,so never buy it... It's practical but not for people ha ing to spend their cash towards real food for the family... Just saying... It must be simple and cheap... This is not
