Great video Ezekiel!! Great detail on how to set up cams correct. Never had seen anyone go through the actual process. Thanks man, for sharing this knowledge!

My friend b swapped his civic and we have no idea why it’s making such low power. 3 mechanics have looked, maybe this will help him! Great video!!

Thanks for the kind words. VTEC solenoids also commonly can have issues

I was gonna comment about the pricing on the danst piece being something to give then some leeway on, but they’re like same as machined T3 adapter piece for 20v itb’s! Welp, that sucks they gave you the runaround, especially for your shop car!

Yeah I definitely felt like that was a lost opportunity on their part to gain a product/company spotlight. They told me they've sold hundreds without an issue, but someone commented in a previous vid that they had the same issue with their manifold and got the same email runaround from Danst

So for someone who wants to throw In the same size cams as you(some hks 256/264) what supporting mods need to be done to the rest of the motor?
@CMAutohaus Жыл бұрын
I would recommend HKS valve springs and degreeing the cams. Both are not "needed" but will get you better reliability and MO POWAH! and driveability lol
@RolanTHUNDER Жыл бұрын
Looked like a lot of effort to degree those cams but I'm sure the results spoke for themselves ;) Did you change/upgrade your valve springs too?
@CMAutohaus Жыл бұрын
Yes TODA valve springs
@RolanTHUNDER Жыл бұрын
@@CMAutohaus Nice! from BGRS no doubt ;) How are they working for you? I'm considering Tomei Poncams for my blacktop 20 Valve so I might get those Toda springs if I go this route. Supertech is also an option but I'd much rather have Toda (unless you know something I don't?)
@CMAutohaus Жыл бұрын
@@RolanTHUNDER Toda or HKS valve springs will both work well. I've used both

@@CMAutohaus Cool, thanks. Any experience with the TRD head gasket? I've got a 0.8mm ready to install soon.

@@RolanTHUNDER They are tough to get to seal. Hasselgren runs OEM Toyota headgaskets and mill the cylinder heads more to increase compression
