How to deliver an Axium coil

Coils may be needed for treating distal vessel perforation during percutaneous coronary intervention, but are infrequently used in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This video provides a step-by-step description of how to deliver an Axium coil through a Finecross microcatheter.

Hi manos. It’s worth noting that the detacher device is not required. The coil can be deployed by bending at 90 degrees near the end of the coil.

Which Axium coils for perforations. There are Axium Prime super soft and extra soft or Axium bare or MicroFx coils?

The ones we have in our lab are the" Axium 3D, 2mmx2cm, 2mm x 4cm, 2.5 mm x 2 cm, and 2.5 mm x 4 cm. Reference numbers: QC-2-2-3D, QC-2-4-3D, QC-2.5-2-3D, QC-2.5-4-3D.
