How to deregister or remove Firestick from your Amazon account

THANK YOU! I've been trying to remove my old fire stick so I can program Alexa to work with my new one. This finally did the trick, I was going in circles trying to do it on the Alexa app.

It can still work, but the new user won't have access to your account settings and preferences. They'll have to register with their own Amazon account

I have two Alexa echo dots and the fire tv was paired with the one on my bedroom and suddenly it was paired with the one in the kitchen idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ and I’m trying to connected back with the one on my bedroom and idk how and I tried this but the fire tv doesn’t appear on my Amazon devices how so? I’m so confused on what happened 🤨 in the Alexa app the fire tv don’t appear either 😢

U didn't show if the apps were deleted AFTER deregister.

They're removed from the firestick but not from your account.
