After many months I backflushed and descaled our Rancillio Sylvia (a much simpler machine than you have) and today was the first day I used it again after completing these procedures. What I noticed on both my medium roast and my wife's dark roast (which have quite different grind settings) and using my standard 22 gm charge, both ran significantly faster than they had been prior to the descale and backflush. Do you think this could result from reducing restrictions leading to higher pressure on the coffee due to clearing out restrictions in the lines? Thanks again for these videos!

Hi I am trying to properly diagnose my Breville barista pro. Every time we run a double shot it brews 3x the amount of regular coffee. Do you have any tips? It does eventually stop brewing. I use the same brew time and grind that I usually do but something is not working properly.

Hello, I have a loss of pressure after descaling :/

Did you use powder and ensured its all dissolved properly? Do Descale again. Maybe some scale build up got released, but still stuck inside. Decale few more time to see if that helps.

Change the title to ‘super long rant before actually getting into how to descale’
