1) Turn on the machine 2) Fill the water tank 3) Press and hold descale button for 5 sec 4) Turn the hot water knob and let the hot water coming until it finishes Thats all. I saved you 13:40 minutes.

"a little drunk but proud to teach". By my experience the cleaning cycluses that the Delonghi should make are not performed automatically. I had to repeat 3 times the descaling until all the solution in a tank was used.
