¿Qué estamos describiendo? (What are we describing?)
¿Qué describimos? (What do we describe?)
una fotografía (a photograph)
una foto (a photo)
una imagen (a picture)
una pintura (a painting)
un dibujo (a drawing)
Es una foto. (It is a photo.)
Estamos viendo una foto. (We’re seeing a photo.)
Veo una foto. (I see a photo.)
Esta es una foto de un festival en una ciudad. (This is a photo from a festival in a city.)
¿Qué hay en la foto? (What’s on the photo?)
¿Qué hay en la imagen? (What’s in the picture?)
E​n la foto hay mujeres que bailan. (In the photo there are dancing women.)
La foto muestra una ciudad en ​un ​día soleado. (The photo shows a city on a sunny day.)
En la imagen se puede ver que hay un tipo de celebración. (In the picture one can see that there is a sort of celebration.)
Hay un festival en una plaza con mucha gente. (There’s a festival in a square with many people.)
¿​Dónde es la imagen? (Where is this picture?)
La foto es en Cuzco, Perú. En el festival de Inti Raymi. (The photo is in Cusco, Peru. In the Inti Raymi festival.)
El festival del sol. (The sun festival.)
¿Qué hay en la foto? (What’s on this photo?)
Hay mujeres que bailan en la plaza de una ciudad. (There are dancing women on a city square.)
¿Qué llevan puesto las mujeres? (What are the women wearing?) Las mujeres llevan (puesto) vestidos de colores. (The women are wearing colorful dresses.)
Las mujeres llevan (puesto) trajes de colores. (The women are wearing colorful costumes.)
¿Qué más aparece en la foto? (What else shows up on the photo?) Hay una plaza en el medio. (There’s a square in the middle.)
En la foto aparecen muchas personas en el fondo. (There’s a lot of people on the background.)
Detrás de las personas hay varios edificios. (Behind the people there are several buildings.)
Más al fondo hay una gran iglesia. (Further in the background there’s a big church.)
Más atrás hay una montaña con muchas casas. (Further behind there’s a mountain with many houses.)
Arriba en la montaña hay muchos árboles. (Up on the mountain there are many trees.)
El cielo está azul. (The sky is blue.)
También hay unos árboles en la plaza. (There are also some trees on the square.)
