After setting the eccentricity, the way the gear sat perfectly on the circle was really satisfying 🔥

Ran into a small error assuming the (R/EN) term was equivalent to (R/E*N), so my curve looked wrong. Changed to (R/(EN)) and everything was beautiful. Thanks for this.

Great tutorial, I've noticed that when doing more than a certain number for N you end up with a badly controlled spline because it doesn't generate enough points (256 spline points appears to be the maximum for any curve) to get around this limitation, I used an ending T value of pi and then mirrored it. Should work as long as N is even.

Has anyone found an updated plugin? I could really use this.

is there a way to enter a pre-existing user parameter in these equations instead of having to enter each number so that changing configuration or reduction or size can be done simply by changing it in parameters since i don't see a way to change a curve once it has been entered

Found a plugin, but couldnt make it, new plugin gives me: Function arguments used without a function (position: 60) Formula: (4* cos(t)) - (0,8 * cos(t + atan(sin((1-10) * t) / ((4/(0,3*10))-cos((1-10)*t))))) - (0,3*cos(10*t)) (-4*sin(t)) + (0,8*sin(t+atan(sin((1-10)*t)/((4/(0,3*10)) - cos((1-10)*t))))) + (0,3*sin(10*t)) UPD: My problem was that I create a special table to calculate variables, and result was, for example "9,8", but Fusion can understand only "9.8"
