I volunteered to make a wreath for a friend whose son was killed in Iraq on May 25, 2006 and is buried in the National Cemetery near our house (his parents live 2500 miles away now). So glad I found this channel! I hadn’t seen one of these made but it will work so well for his headstone. Thanks so much!

Very well illustrated and explained. I make these for my mother’s grave, but now with this tutorial they will be much prettier going forward.

Very nice. Wish i had seen this sooner. I made my very first floral saddle for my father's headstone last week. I did not know to use any glue, so i hope my florals and greenery hold up to the wind. I will save this video and re-watch before making a fall design. TYFS

I really like it and I think it was pretty without the ribbon. I appreciate the tutorial. I think I am going to put my own twist on it…due to trying to stay within my family’s budget. I have a Deodra tree that drops pinecones that look like wooden roses. I also collect other types of pinecones and sometimes I paint them, sometimes I just varnish them. My husband wants to get rid of a fake Christmas tree so I will use some of that for filler. Not sure what else I’ll use…have to look around and upcycle something and see how it turns out. May not look as pretty as yours but you gave me some inspiration to try something different. TYFS!❤😊

April 20, 2024 Good morning from Schulenburg, Texas 😊 that headstone saddle turned out beautiful I love the colors you used and I loved how you added the ribbon that arrangement looked beautiful with or without the ribbon ❤ oh you can use a hairdryer on low to fluff those blue flowers Southern freshen up and they don't look wrinkled. Where did you buy your pick machine and what kind of pliers where you using to cut your stems are those you were using please?

Gorgeous. You don't even need the ribbon. I have a question. Our cemetery doesn't allow standing headstones, so how would you make this accomadate an in ground headstone? I know you still need the Styrofoam, but wouldn't it also require some kind of a base? Thanks for sharing ❤
@suzetteneely390321 күн бұрын
There are plastic vases that have a pick on the bottom of them (like solar lights have)

I had a custom headstone made for my Son. He rode bulls, broke and showed horses as well as being a Master Cattleman. It was my final gift to him. I cried during the entire process. On the back I had listed his Son, my youngest Son as his brother and me as his Mama. I will e buried next to him. My health is very bad and I want my Son to lay me to rest with no fanfare. Instead I want people to be happy that I will finally know what happened to my child. No one can tell me what happened. It will drive you mad if you let it.
