The two times in my life that someone dropped by unexpectedly were both in the late evening when I had already changed into my pajamas. However, my "pajamas" were random, worn out tank tops and shorts and I was mortified. You would think I would learn, but I still tend to use the old mismatched items even when I have bought prettier ones. And I DO buy prettier ones almost every year. Maybe this summer I can make myself throw out the old, soft, comfy items and start wearing something nicer. Maybe. We'll see.

Those wood pedestals are so gorgeous❤ I have two of those blue glass bowls I got years ago from homegoods, one of my favorite pieces. But your unique styling of it is so beyond! Stunning! My prayers are with you Liz 🙏🏻 I was 57 when I had my Total knee replacement..after many previous years of shots ,therapy, etc. It was bone on bone. I remember saying to my family, “why did I wait so long?” It took a lot of work but I will never regret my decision. So your Coastal Theme is working well! Love all that youve done! All your new pj's are lovely, Liz. My heart breaks that after all the things you've tried you're still suffering with this knee pain at such a young age. I wish I could tell you what cured mine. All through my 40s and into my early 50s I could barely shop for groceries. I worried I'd be using a scooter to shop long before I hit sixty. I gave up foods, beverages tried Jacuzzi baths, etc. Most of my experiments were in vain. My main success was figuring out anything fermented or with yeast brought on painful inflammation in my knees. I learned about the many food and drink items that are fermented and vowed to avoid them for 90 days. I kept researching and learned that tea leaves are fermented during processing. I drank tea because I didn't like water. I switched to only untreated pure well water for six months. I gave up green veg high in oxilates. Loved my sautéed baby spinach, cabbage slaw and asparagus with lemon butter sauce. I stopped buying the beautiful Designer multigrain breads we always stashed in the cupboards or freezer. One day I awoke to realize my knees hadn't been swollen in weeks. I'd had little pain for quite some time, although I didnt remember how long. For eighteen months I expected to wake with my knees hurting again. If I did feel a twinge of pain or inflammation I made a list of everything I'd had eaten over 3 - 5 days. I eliminated cured meats like ham and salami. I began riding a stationary bike and gradually transitioned to walking. I believe I finally got rid of all the toxins in my body and walked off the lipids stored in my legs, arms, and abdomen. I had the juice of half a lemon in a glass of water first thing each day. That was almost 20 yrs ago. I'm still going strong, walking 2+ miles a day. I go to the city every few weeks and shop till I drop. I go to outdoor flea markets 2 or 3 consecutive days with no issues. It was a miracle from G*d. I pray for your healing often. Never give up, never stop looking forward to the end of your pain. It can happen if you refuse to give in. 😘 Dee

Your daughter is so sweet to stop in the store and buy that gorgeous vase for you, it definitely looks Coastal. I know what you are going through with your knee pain and I'm so sorry you are suffering. In the past PRP injections would help me a great deal with my pain but not anymore . I also had gel injections about 3 months ago and they did not help me, so I went to an orthopedic surgeon. Doctor took x-rays and I have bone on bone on my right knee. So sometime soon I have to get knee replacements😢. I am so happy that the Prednisone give you some relief, it only give me about one day relief. Beautiful PJs and have a wonderful weekend⛵🏖😘.

I had a shoulder replacement done in February. It was rough but doing so much better now. Beautiful and simple coastal theam. I love the vase that your daughter found. God bless you and your family.
