Uhh, the landing turned out spicy! Thanks for finding the time to put this together and share your process 🙏 Would have loved to see more behind-the-scenes of you building those simplified product UI illustrations. With the current AI SaaS product craze these are quite useful. Quick question: I see you always build everything with auto layouts. With this landing - did you group all section auto-layout blocks together in one large auto layout or do you keep the base as a regular frame and then stack sections on top of each other? And a side question: when it comes to app design where you'll probably be prototyping , same question - auto layout or frame as a base?

Yeah I think for the next episode I'll focus more on the redesign itself. I actually lean on auto layout very heavily in my redesigns. Since layouts look more aesthetically pleasing if their alignment is solid, auto layout just solves that for you. For these large landing pages, I create individual sections with a unique container in each, and then center it vertically and a fixed height for the section that makes sense for the layout. I think if you go to the Figma file you should be able to see how it's all configured. Hope that helps?

Oh, and for prototyping, I almost always use auto layout with just some basic boxes, or figjam if I need something quick and dirty

@@DemystifyingDesign Thanks! Another quick question if you don't mind - I see you had collected some inspiration before starting work. What site gallery did you use for SaaS landings?
