this is so much better than putting a pdf in a email... i couldn't get the links to work at all (saved it as a png first cause apparently you can only have a pdf as an attachment)... this way is SOOO much better and professional. Thank you!!! I took notes :)

Thanks, I literally followed it step by step, my one challenge was that I did use the Sell Products layout but somehow, I do not have the Color and Image to the left of the screen when hovering over the Headers or Text and Image blocks. What can the reason for this be?

Hi digital grl, thank you so much for this detailed video on how to use MailChimp! I was wondering - is there a feature that allows you to personalize your email newsletter. For example, say "Hi Digital Grl..." If that feature exists, where is it?

Hey Dennis, absolutely! You can add dynamic merge tags right into your email campaign text blocks. In most cases, if you want to say Hi Digital Grl, you would type in Hi **|FNAME|** **|LNAME|** and this will pull the person's first and last name from their contact info. If you have played around with your signup forms, your merge tags may be different. To see your merge tags, go to Settings under your Audience and click on "Audience fields and MERGE tags". Very helpful, thanks so much. Would be great if you could cover the difference between Featured and Basic Layouts. Do Basic Layouts have locked formatting? They seem to be harder to work with. Also what's the connection between styles that you pre-determine (that panel with "Page, Header, Body, Footer, Mobile Styles, Footer Badge") -- and formatting styles for the individual blocks? There is no format paintbrush or easy Canva-like UI for some of these features and I am not understanding why some of my design changes don't take. Thanks!

I SENT A test email and just as it looks on the page it is huge and therefor cannot be read! I don't see any tips for making you email a normal size. Mailchimp is worthless.
