how to lay underground cable directly .Also, I need to check about the current carrying capacity depend on the depth of the cable laying position.Also expecting to add different layer above the cabling runway..is this possible in this software

Regarding your question, in addition to the underground “Duct Bank Raceway” system, which is explained in this video, ETAP has the option to define a “Direct Buried Raceway” system, which models the set of cables that are buried directly under the ground (within a Raceway with backfill). In ETAP Underground Raceway presentation, user can define the raceway size and the coordinates at which the cables are located, and the thermal properties of raceway backfill. User can easily adjust the depth of the cable laying position either visually or from the editor. ETAP allows arrangement of multiple raceways within one presentation. How do you get the dimensions to show up?
