hello Sir, please can you help me please. i have to simulate a single- node power system with 2 turbine- generators (power plants) supplying one load and observe the frequency behaviour after the loss of one of generators(a t=5s)

Thanks for the comment. For this topic, first try to find any research paper closely related to this topic. Then try to reproduce it in the MATLAB. Otherwise, it will be difficult.

I got a problem while solving this problem in the step block it says u can't set step size to hundred .....not able to get the waveform in the scope

Sir what if the base MVA is different and we have to perform base conversion ? Suppose area 1 has Base MVA of 1500 and area 2 has base MVA of 100000. Do we have to convert values of "R" and "D" to a common base ?

Thanks for the comment. Yes. It is frequency over time. At x-axis it is time and at y - axis it is frequency

Thanks for the comments. Just watch the second part and then replace the integral controller with PID controller. In the PID vontroller, put the input of D to zero

@@DrJALAGHARI i don't get my output. While i am doing this. I put all values and blocks correctly in Circuit. But when i run the simulink it's output is totally different then it should be.

Dear sir. I want to ask how do you determine your nominal frequencies? e.g how do you predict the nominal frequency is operating at 60HZ?

Basically this model is taken from power system analysis book by hadi sadat. In this book, all examples have nominal frequency of 60hz.

Dear Prof. I have a question. I was trying to practice your model, however using but 100MW for change in load at Area 1. When I showed it to my Supervisor a Prof. He suggest that the model does not show the Pref. i. e there is no ref. Power value inputed on the feedback. Pls can you explain why?
