just bought the game 2 days ago because of this playthrough. You give excellent advice for people like me, interested in the money making part of the game, but not invested in the building part of it. I find the building of the office as a hideous chore, but now you kinda opened my eyes. Cannot wait for the next episode and to try your office design.

It can definitely be a little bit of a pain, if building isn't your thing, you can also download buildings from the steam workshop!

I would recommend the ergonomic chair for the leader, you want him to be comfortable. Also it's a lot cheaper to just give it to the leader rather than everyone.

Good point! I think I'll make that upgrade for sure (assuming I remember) haha. Eventually I like to upgrade everyone's chairs anyway once cash is flowing a little more!

Loving the play through so far! I know you wound up just creating a larger bathroom, but when you were having trouble deleting that room to connect the hallways, I think you could have clicked on that room and the hallway and hit the combine rooms button. Not 100% sure though, since it can be a bit wonky, as you said. Also, looking forward to the next episode to see what you do for the server, reception, and security rooms.

Rather than a pillar around 20:00 you can change the grid size down by half and give it half a tile each

I believe you can right click and merge rooms. That will get rid of the walls. Edit: actually this might come back to the "you cannot have rooms within rooms" issue - as the hallway would completely surround the bathroom

You should have shrunk the meeting rooms by 1 since the table didn’t need to be 2 wide anyway bcs u had 2 extra seats. Then the team rooms wouldn’t need to be so small

so what's the average overall cost of a new simple building? I'm always wondering how much cash on hand to start building.

I mean, how long is a piece of string haha, you can definitely start building your own building once you have like 1 or 2 mil in the bank, it's just going to have to be a bit smaller. I like to aim for about 10m before I start building.

Why design, a large bathroom when you have bathroom that are gonna to be share between teams. used that space partially for a server room and showers and utilities.

Just an Idea. Why not make the second floor just for the heating and cooling and then have a basement for the servers and security. That way they are out of the way and forgettable.

I like the basement for servers and security! The main reason I didn't use upstairs for heating and cooling is because I eventually plan on building more floors for more offices, but in saying that I've just realized I'll have to move them then anyway haha.
