@@falkonor8307 falcos hard because its how you play those micro interactions. I cant tell you how many quick play shitters i run into that just mindlessly shoot 2 lasers, then short hop, full drift in nair. sometimes you gotta do the nair, but its important to shoot the gun, then watch what they do after. Did they jab? You gotta do a lil dash dance and make em whiff. Did they jump? remember that for the next laser interaction. The lists goes on, but u gotta keep your eye on them, wall em out, shoot em out, and keep mixing them up with different buttons

I think an awesome thing you can do for content is have some of the players you’re coaching go against another players who’s being coached by a top player! Maybe even have a small tourney for it if you guys have enough members. I think it’d be really interesting and great help for everyone involved

Great tutorial, W! One little tip though. If you're going to be using your mouse to point at stuff, I recommend using the Invert Pointer so it's easier to see. EDIT: Just realized that it miiight be invisible to you. I'm sorry. Maybe just a bigger pointer?

I was listening to this sort of passively while still taking mental notes and then i was like well let's go try to apply this and it genuinely started working, like it felt like I actually had a grasp on what I was doing and not just throwing out shit to fuck them up before their lasers fuck me up like I was doing before, I could actually go in at the right time etc etc and have a solid game plan which led to me beating this falco who was just beating me

I usually beat netplay Falcos and the main reason is they ALL do the same things at all times. Like i couldn't tell the last 30 Falcos I've played recently apart at all. This isn't accurate for any other character. Falco mains are stuck in their noobie ways because it just works against most players and it's so effective

No disrespect, but that question "what was your thought process with this move?" would be such a silly question for someone with my skill level. Unless I'm extremely oblivious to how good professional players are, there's no way that people memorize their decisions beyond general strategy or reads. In the moment, sure, but days or even hours later?
